CHARGES WITHDRAWN
MALAYAN PARTY LEADERS (9 a.m.) SINGAPORE, March 24. The court discharged S. C. Goho, chairman of the Indian Independence League during the Japanese occupation. when the prosecutor withdrew a charge of sedition on instructions from the highest possible authority. Goho, who was detained in November. has been on bail since February. The prosecutor also withdrew charges of treason and sedition against Dr. Charles Paglar. leader of the Eurasian community during the occupation. The court dismissed charges against Abdul Samad, editor of the Malay People during the Japanese regime.
