FIVE GERMANS TO DIE
U.S. FLIERS’ ’DEATH MARCH’ (10 a.m.) LONDON, March 24.
A military court at Frankfurt sentenced to death five Germans for forcing seven American airmen into a "death march” on Eorkum Island in August, 1944. Nine other Germans received sentences ranging from two years to life imprisonment.
