FATHER AND SON WIN CENTRE BOWLS TOURNEY POVERTY BAY DOUBLE In the respective divisions of the GisborneEast Coast Bowlins Centre’s fours ohampionship tournament, played on the Kahutia greens during the week-end, the McKenzie family had an unusual success representing the Poverty Bay Club. S McKenzie won his senior division final, going through the two days’ play unbeaten, and his son, D. McKenzie, wound up winner of the junior division, having suffered one loss only. His form indicates the probability that he, too, will become a star among skips. This was the 16th centre championship won by S. McKenzie in 12 years’ association with the Poverty Bay club.
