CRASH INTO SCHOOL
PLANE INJURES PUPILS TWO AIRMEN KILLED (9 a.m.) LONDON. March 22. The pilot and co-pilot were lulled and two schoolgirls were slightly injured when an R.A.F. Mosquito crashed into the wall of a school playground and burst into flames. Burning petrol set fire to a public house. Mothers rushed screaming to the school in which 200 girls were at lessons when the plane crashed. Villagers fought the flames before the arrival of the fire brigade.
