BEER SUPPLY ENDS
STRIKE-BOUND BREWERY NO EXTENSION PLANNED (10.30 a.m.) SYLDNEY, March 6. The brewery strike will not be extended beyond Tooth’s breweries for the present, according to a decision by the New South Wales Labour Council disputes committee. The committee .took the view that no good purpose would be served by an extension of the stoppages at this stage. Circumstances would dictate whether .the question would arise again. The committee will recommend to the Labour Council meeting on Thursday night that .the Government would be asked .to hasten plans for .the nationalisation of .the breweries. Deliveries from Tooth’s breweries will cease .to-day, thereby shutting off 70 per cen.t. of the State’s beer supply*
