Not many two-iooth ranis will t> c found in this district for the export, market, the schedule of which lias been extended to include approved lots of young rams with a view to sending more meat to Britain. Discussing the proposed export of young rams, a trade expert to-day stated that few farmers carried rams over until this stage of the season unless they had particular plans for their disposal already made, lie did not expect that there would be any considerable response to the invitation of the Meat Producers’ Board on that account.
