KIWIS’ BRITISH TOUR PRAISE FOR OPEN PLAY (1(1 a.i11.) LONDON. March 5. "The Kiwis set out to help British Rugby and (lit! so as players ot attractive Rugby and as magnets wherever they appeared. Their records in statistics would not have disgraced the official All Blacks. They played 27 games, won 23, drew two and lost two. The points for were 484 and those against 111.
“If only,” Bays the correspondent, “their fluid penetration and conception of the passing frame could have influenced British Kugby a little more!” The correspondent praises the Kiwi backs and forwards for their combination and for their open play and especially praises the full-backs, Scott and Cook, whose kicking converted 55 of the Kiwis’ 98 tries. They also scored 72 penalty points.
The Kiwis are expected to play in Australia on their way home, but first will have to tour France and hope to enter in the Middlesex seven-n-side tournament at the close ol‘ the English season.
