ARGENTINE AND U.S. . SEQUEL TO INDICTMENT REGIMES’ AID TO AXIS (10 a.m.) NEW YORK. Fob. 14. Latin American diplomatic correspondents consider that any official inter-American act ion regarding Argentina will be deferred until after tiic elections on February 24. Advocates of deferment hope that the Democratic candidate, Senor Tamborini, will defeat Colonel Peron and then clean up continued collaboration with the remnants of the German Nazi machine. The officials said that further evidence is still being received from Germany bearing out the general thesis of yesterday's Blue Book denouncing successive Argentine Governments for helping the Axis, but the line bad to be drawn somewhere to close the volume for publication. The New York Herald Tribune's correspondent in Washington says that a formal rupture of diplomatic relations between the United States and Argentina appeared to be possible as tension mounted over the Blue Book. Some observers believe that it remains now only for the Argentine Government to announce an open break.
