£300,000 INVOLVED
• In his report to the monthly meeting of the Cook County Council the county engineer, Mr. K F. Jones, reported that in accordance with the instructions previously given to him, a programme of future works in the county had been drawn up in connection with the regional planning policy. It was estimated that in addition to normal county expenditure on works, a further £300.000 would be required lo give all-weather access to all ratepayers in the county the report added.
