STRIKE CALLED OFT
NEW YORK TUGBOATS FUEL RATIONING REMAINS (10 a.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 14. The Mayor of New York, Mr. W. O’Dwycr, announced that the tugboat strike had been called off and that, the men would return to work this morning, pending arbitration in the wages and hours dispute. It was officially announced that the rationing of fuel oil and coal would continue until adequate stocks were built up, but it was expected the brownout of street lighting and the order banning the heating of trams and subway cars would be rescinded. Meanwhile, all schools would resume sessions.
