IN GISBORNE REGION REGIONAL PLANNING “Just exactly how far regional planning will go--or whether it is going to go at all —I am not in a position lo say; but as far as it does go the Tiniroto area will be meuded in die Gisborne region,” said the chairman. Mr. E. H. Baker, commenting on 3 letter in which the Internal Affairs Department advised the Cook County Council to-day on the transfer of the Tiniroto area from the Wairor. to the Gisborne region under the regional planning scheme. The chairman staled that the Tiniroto Settlers’ Association, which bad initiated the move for the transfer, would be gratified by the success of the representations made.
