Request for Transport Technicians and radio announcers of Wellington commercial radio stations held a meeting at which they decided to ask the Government to provide transport to take them to work when on the roster for early morning duty and home again when on late work at night. These proposals came before the Wellington section committee of the New Zealand Public Service Association and were unanimously endorsed. The committee recommended that if transport facilities were not provided, the stations should be allowed to broadcast from the transmitting site during the period when adequate transport was not available.—P.A. guaranteed coed relief.
