Philatelic Society
The Philatelic Society of New Zealand, Incorporated, has been granted permission by the King to use the prefix “Royal” in its title. Advice to this effect has been received by the society from the official secretary of the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall. Established in 1883, the society has about 2GO members. The Dominion .patron is the Governor-General and the president Sir Heaton Rhodes.—P.A.
