King's.—One of the season’s powerful romantic dramas is RKO Radio’s "China Sky," now at the King’s with Randolph Scott, Ruth Warrick and Ellen Drew in the stellar roles. Thrown together in the proximity of a small hospital in a Chinese village harassed by Jap. bombs, a husband, a wife, and another woman work out their emotional problems in nn atmosphere of dangerous jealousy uncontrolled hatred and enemy espionage. Supporting the stars are Carol Thurston, Anthony Quinn, Ducky Louie, Richard I-oo and Philip Ahn.

Majestic.—A highly dramatic film, "Man From ’Frisco,” is the principal attraction in an excellent double-feature programme nt the Majestic. Advance notices say that the “Man From ’Frisco" was "the toughest guy who ever bossed a shipbuilding crew or conquered a woman's heart," and that his private life was the talk of the town. Michael O'Shea. Anne Shirley, and Gene Loeknrt are in the featured roles. The associate film is a thrilling myeatery hit "Spy Train." co-starring Chick Chandler and Evelyn Brent.
