“There has been only one positive case of infantile paralysis in Timaru,” said Mr A. W. B. Watkinson, Timaru sanitary inspector yesterday. “All the others have proved negative. The positive case, that of an adult, was the first case reported. The second case in South Canterbury was that of a boy from the Cave district. One fresh case of infantile paralysis, that of a child, was confirmed as positive in Dunedin yesterday. -P./u
