FRANCO MUST SURRENDER NO ■ COMPROMISE LIKELY (10 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 12. An agreement between the Spanish Pretender, Don Juan, and Genera! Franco, seems less probable every day, according to Royalist circles, reports the Associated Press correspondent at Lisbon. The spokesman described Don Juan’s attitude towards General Franco as irrevocable. “It must be unconditional surrender for General Franco and the Falange,” he said. Copies of the first letter of allegiance signed by many Spaniards, including three ex-members of the Franco Government. have been received by the Royalists. The lei ter expresses the hope that Don Juan will soon be leading Spain with her traditional freedom and respect for human rights.
