Hotel Windows Broken
A returned soldier, Patrick Turner Tj Puna, pleaded guilty to having broken three windows in the Coronat on Hotel when he appeared before Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Gisborne Magistrate's Court to-day. He was fined £2, with 16s costs. It was stated that he was a Second Echelon man who had been a prisoner of war for 3£ years. He had met a friend in town who had been in the same prison camp and they had been at the hotel most of the day. The accused had paid for the damage.
