Farm Profit
The excess of income over expenditure at the Cook Hospital Board’s dairy farm last December was £220 9s 4d, it was reported to yesterday’s meeting of the board. Receipts totalled 2331 19s 3d, while the expenditure was £lll 9s lid. This slate of affairs prompted favourable comment among members, although a sobering thought was given by Mr. H. Cooper, who said that the lucerne on hand was getting eaten off quickly and the maize was dying out because of the lack of rain.
