Complimentary Luncheon

A complimentary luncheon is to be tendered by the municipality to the servicemen and women of the Gisborne area who have returned home since September 15, 1945, at the Poho-o-Rawiri meeting-house to-morrow. Those entitled to attend the luncheon are to assemble at the Army Hall at midday, where they will be addressed briefly by the Mayor, Mr. N. H. Bull, after which they will be conveyed in special buses to the meeting-house, where luncheon will be served by a volunteer staff.
