Day of Big Dividends

Trial Fours Final The final of the .First Trial Fours of the Poverty Day Rowing Club was held last evening when the crew stroked by D. Menzies defeated M. Varley’s crew by two lengths over the three-quarter-mile course on the Taruheru River. Members of the winning crew were Menzies, G. Owen, B. Knebel, and R. Clayton. Tiie race attracted mnny interested spectators, who thronged the bridges on the route.
