District Nurse for Manutuke
The Cook Hospital Board received advice at yesterday’s meeting from the Director-General of Health that immediately a cottage was built in the Manutuke-Patutahi area a district nurse could be installed to cater for that district. Any member of the Health Department’s staff of nurses who so desired could be seconded to the board for this work. The managingsecretary, Mr. C. A. Harries, stated that no further action could be taken until the house was built.
