FAT LAMB PRICES
Fat lamb producers' of this district are now operating under a new lamb schedule which gives them an increase of Jd per lb. all round for their lambs, and this increase, together with the reduction of the minimum to 201 b., will be welcomed by farmers of the district who are finding that the dry weather predominating for the last two months has done nothing to help them along. Under the new schedule, producers will receive 9Jd per lb. for the prime crossbreds in the 20-421 b. woolly class. 9jjd per lb. for prime Southdowns, and Bgd for seconds in that class weight.
