HOPES REVIVED
TYPHOON’S GOOD SPRINT MELBOURNE. Oct. 24. The outstanding sprint by Typhoon at Caulfield yesterday has raised the hopes of fiis supporters for a Melbourne Cup success. Typhoon ran six furlongs on the sand in 1.15 —very fast time for that track. Actually his Cup start is not yet certain. Typhoon will probably run in the Cantala Stakes and then a decision will be made about the Cup.
