STRIKE THREAT ENDS

SYDNEY, Oct. 24. The threat of revival of the Bunnerong power-house strike was averted by the decision of the general manager of the Sydney County Council, Mr. Nolan, to start the men in the dispute. Mr, Nolan said that, as the men were not on the payroll of the County Council they had been overlooked. The three men were engaged for shift work on the day the recent strike began.
