N.Z. AIR FORCE BAND
ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY VICTORY LOAN CAMPAIGN (10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 24. The band of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, which arrived in Sydney last night, has already raised more than £160,000 for war loans. Described by leading music critics as one of the world's best, the band of 67 performers is touring Australia in support of the fourth Victory Loan. Its five weeks’ tour of Australia covers 3600 miles and includes over 60 performances.
