Majestic.—A auber-shocker horror film heads to-morrow’s new programme at the Majestic. It is “House of Frankenstein," with Boris Karloff. Lon Chaney. John Cnrradine and J. Carrol Naish. Karloff is seen as a mad scientist in this firm, which re-creates some of the screen's most macabre characters. It i 3 suitable entertainment for children. The associate feature is a western up to the host tradition of action-packed films. “Hail r lo The Rangers." Charles Starrett is the star. King's.—The murder of an actor on a Hollywood studio sound stage starts the action in RKO Radio's newest Falcon film, “The Falcon in Hollywood." Tom Conway is featured. Crashing the gates of the movie studio, The Falcon finds the body and, although hampered by studio "cops," he mtcceeds in getting his mnn. He is alternately aided and hindered by a girl taxi driver who falls heavily for him. Barbara Hale. Rita Corday and Jeaii Brooks play outstanding parts in this thrilling picture, which commences to-day at the King fl. Regent.—“ Meet Me In St. Louis" (Judy Carlnnd, Margaret O’Brien) is at present delighting natrons to the Regent. Here is a delightfully human story delightfully told, with a background of catchy music and eotig “hits" to delight every lover of music. The colouring is perfect and the humour frc3h and wholesome. An excellent programme of featuretto comnleten a splendid show.
