The hopes that the Birkenhead deckers would return to work this morning were not realised. Twelve hundred men gathered at the control centre in the Birkenhead decks, but none signed on
A email meeting yesterday decided in aveur cf ending the strike.
The London position is unchanged. The dockers and clerks arc holding rnass meetings
