N.Z. TROTTING CUP
(P.A,) CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 11. The stake for the Now Zealand Trotting Cup ip November has been fixed at £7500 and the limit for two miles at 4.21, this being the fastest class in the world. Horses assessed at 4.22 at the time the handicaps are declared oil October 25 will be eligible, thus giving horses an opportunity to qualify at the spring meetings. The total stakes for the two days are £23,150.
