Sir, —Flower garden lovers may well, be advised that they should guard against prowlers who surreptitiously ransack flower gardens to suit, themselves. Were ' tin tables turned, how would the prowler line it’’ The flower garden of this house where 1 live in Palmerston road has received more then once the attention of prowlers. A clematis plant expected to show its loveliness this year was attacked by a prowler. Its root and part of the stem were timen awav from the vehandah garden m front ol this house. That clematis had much attention bestowed upon it. arid there was profuse flowering for this year—hut not. now, as it has been robbed. One wonders it anything is worth while nowadays.— hLOW LK LOVER.
