GOVERNOR RETIRES . " ’ LONDON, July 2. ..The Duke of Abercorn has retired from the Governorship of Northern Ireland-’ He was appointed in 1922, wrifen, "the bfllce was established, and completed a record tenure of an Imperial pro-consular office. The statutory six-yearly term was three times extended. ItWlce-Admira! the Earl of Granville has beeh appointed to succeed him.
