NORWAY’S SHIPPING
LOSSES DURING WAR
COPENHAGEN, July 1. The Norwegian Shipowners’ Association stated that Norway’s shipping losses during the war amounted to 2,321,483 tons. The tonnage at present working j S 3,890,537 tons. Seventylive new ships, totalling 450,000 tons, have been ordered in Swedish shipyards, to be delivered by 1948.
