Police transfers announced are: Sub-Inspector J. Mclntyre, Wellington Central, to control the Gisborne district, in succession to the late Inspector D. A. Mac Lean, with the rank of inspector; Senior-Seregant John Abel, Christchurch Central, to Wellington Central; Sergeant A. E. Kearton, Taranaki Street, to Waimate sub-district.— P.A.
