LEAVING PERSIA
U.S. GARRISON TROOPS (10 a.m.) TEHERAN, June 29. Nearly half the United States force which has been stationed in Persia for three years guarding the route to Russia has already returned to America. The remainder are being repatriated at the rate of 40,000 monthly, including 2000 by air. Persia is reported to have prospered greatly during the American occupation.
