King’s—Anno Baxter and Thomas Mitchell are at the head of the cast of the 20th Century-Fox film “The Sullivans. Which will open at the King’s to-morrow. Edward Kvan, John Campbell, Jnnies Cardwell, John Alvin, and George Oflferman. jun. portray the five Sullivan boys, of. Waterloo. lowa. Despite the importance of their roles, Lloyd Bacon, the director ot the film, decided not to seek recognised actors to represent the Sullivan boys. New faces, in* felt, would inject a greater quality of sincerity nnd effectiveness. Regent.—“Ninotchka” "(Greta Garbo, Molvyn Douglas), concludes to-day. Bette Davis, Monty Woolley and Ann Sheridan are the three popular stars., who lead the cast of “The Man Who Came, to Dinner at the Regent to-morrow. The film, was taken from the successful, stage play that ran for more than two years in Broadway, it is full of fun and humour; Monty Woolley has the. role of Sheridan Whiteside, a witty lecturer. Bette Davis is his secretary and Ann Sheridan plays tile stage actress he imports to break up Bette s romance. ~ " Majestic.—“ Lady Gangster, the mam feature to-day is a drama starring. Faye Emerson, Julie Bishop, and Frank Wilcox, it tells the story of a girl who tries t« pi"" f-ri ini mils against the police and bettent from both sides. The associate feature "“Thanks for Listening,” is a brieht comedy with music starring the popular band leader, song writer and radio star, Pinky Tomlin. The programme includes chapter 11 of “Raiders of Ghost City.”
