MILITARY WEDDING
BRIGHT—KINDER Two well-known Gisborne families were united with the marriage on Saturday afternoon at Holy Trinity Church »f Hazel .Margaret, only daughter of Mrs. Kinder and the lilt« Mr. .1. Kinder, Stout street, and Captain Trevor Normaii "Bright, ‘2nd. N.Z.K.F., son of Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Bright, Hnronga road. Tin; ceremony was performed by Canon A. F. Hall, aiid Mr. 1. Moore was at, the organ. Bella donna lilies and asters had been artistically arranged in the church. The bride, who was escorted by her brother. Mr. Dudley Kinder, looked charming in it frock of cream French ninon showing a nicked bodice with a heartshaped neckline and short sleeves also accented with rucking. An inset band, graduating to a peak, defined the waistline, and the (lowing skirt swept into a long train. Her exquisite embroidered veil, loaned by her sister-in-law, Mrs. ,1. I). Kinder, was held in place with a top-knot of cream roses and carnations, and a sheaf of similar blooms was carried. Picture frocks of pastel green Kobia voile were worn by Miss Nora Broadhnrst and Miss Shonn McLeod, Wellington, the bridesmaids. Their becoming head-dresses of (lowers in pink and mauve Innings repeated the colour note of their bouquets of asters and dahlias. The small Mower girl, Caroline Barry, niece of the bridegroom, was an attractive figure in a long frock of pale pink Robin voile and the little page, Trevor Kinder, nephew of the bride, wore a cream satin suit in Fauntleroy style. The bridegroom was attended by Limit, A. W. Hart. Masterton, and Sergeant W. K. Gudgeon. After the ceremony a large reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. .1. i). Kinder, Stout street. Mrs. Kinder, mother of the bride, was wearing a model suit of navy blue crepe romaine accented with braiding and a hat of matching felt. Her bouquet was composed of scarlet ncrines and carnations. Mrs. Bright, mother of the bridegroom, wore a suit of dusky pink crepe, with a georgette blouse lo lone and a black felt hat. She carried a bouquet of pink and mauve listers. , Mrs. Dudley Kinder was wearing a frock of floral silk with black accessories and furs. A frock of chestnut brown rloque ornamented with braiding and a hat of mill clung felt were the choice of Mrs. I). B. Barry, sister of the bridegroom. Miss Taylor, aunt of Hie bride, wore p suit of black crepe romaine with matching aC The°bride travelled in a smart navyblue tailor-made worn with accessories to match.
