OBITUARY
LIEUT.-GENERAI. WYNTER (9 a.m.) MELBOURNE. Fob. 9. Lieutenant-General H. D. Wynter, who until becoming seriously ill, was officer commanding the administration at headquarters of the Southwest Pacfic Allied land headquarters, has died here. He was 58 years old and had had a distinguished career as a permanent military soldier, being first commissioned as a second lieutenant in 1907.
