WELLINGTON’S ENTRY taurangaTclass title N.Z. YACHTING REGATTA (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. . 8. The New Zealand Tauranga-class_ yachting championship regatta was continued in Evans Bay yesterday morning, but because a hard northerly gale made conditions impossible for racing in more open water at the entrance of Evans Bay, the Idle Along races were postponed until to-day. Only one Tnuranga-class race was held, the afternoon’s race being postponed because pi the heavy weather. ' W. Hayman, sailing the Wellington boat Houdini Junior, gained his third win of inicontest, and with only one race to go his winning position is assured from all competitors with the exception of Canterbury. The. official times of boats that, finished th.e course were: —Wellington, 11 .59.55, 1: Canterbury, 12.6.35, 2: Auckland, 12.22.25, ft. The race started at 11 a.m. j With only one race to be sailed, Wellington is leading with 333.33 points, Canterbury is second with 283.34 points, and Auckland, with 183.65 points, is third. ’ j
