MANILA PRISON CAMP MALNUTRITION POLICY NEW YORK, Feb. 6. The Japanese carried out a methodically - planned malnutrition policy at Santo Tomas camp, said Dr. Stevenson, chairman of the camp medical staff, interviewed by the Associated Press’ correspondent. He added that they regularly brought in truck-loads of food for the Japanese troops in full view of the hungry in'ternees, displaying to the hungry eyes Hananas, meat, milk, eggs—everything the. internees needed and could not have.
The children would hang around while the Japanese unloaded the trucks, hoping to pick up scraps, until the camp commandant forbade anyone to approach the trucks.
