Carter. —Mrs. B. Carter and family desire to sincerely thank all kind friends for telegrams, messages of sympathy and floral emblems received in their recent sad bereavement; also sincere thanks for assistance so kindly rendered. 850 McLeod.—Mr. and Mrs. McLeod and family, Whatatutu, wish to express their thanks and appreciation for the consoling expressions of sympathy received on the occasion of the death of their son and brother. Gordon, who died of wounds in the cause of honour and freedom. When the peace comes let us not forget the glory that is theirs.
