AUCKLAND HOSPITALS
MAN-POWERING WOMEN (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 5. Auckland is to take the same steps for the staffing of its new hospitals as already have been taken in Wellington. All unmarried women aged from 21 to 29 years in the Auckland manpower district are to be in for interview immediately, classified in order of priority of individual circumstances, and directed to meet the urgent staffing needs of the Thirtyninth General Hospital in accordance with their priority classifications. This was announced to-day by the Minister of Industrial Man-power, the Hon. A. McLagan.
