WRECKAGE IN BRITAIN
HOSPITALS, HOME & SHOPS (10 a.m.) LONDON. Jan. 5. V-bombs in southern England recently hit the doctors’ quarters of a hospital. Three persons were killed. Six patients escaped with a few scratches. Many members of the staff were trapped for some lime. In another incident a blind woman and a baby were killed. The husband. who is also blind, was rescued. A married couple in another house were killed. A V-bomb in a residential shopping area in southern England killed a soldier and his wife and wrecked shops ancl houses over a wide area. Seven persons were killed raid others seriously injured. A V-bomb in another area destroyed a public library. Two children ancl two adults were killed ancl 11 seriously injured.
