BRITISH AMBASSADOR POLITICAL TOPICS (9 a.m.) WASHINGTON. Jan. 4. President Roosevelt and the British Ambassador, Lord Halifax, conferred for 45 minutes. Lord Halifax later said he discussed the coming President Uoosevelt-Marshal Stalin meeting, the Polish and Greek situations and also British-Amcrican differences. He added that general rather than particular problems were taken up.
