CRICKET TO-MORROW
SENIOR PICK-UP GAMES The Poverty Bny Cricket Association will recommence senior cricket on Saturday after a fortnight’s interruption due to the holiday period. Four senior grade teams, three of which are taking part in the competition, will play to-morrow and for the remaining Saturdays of the month while the regular competition matches will be resumed in February. The teams to be matched this month will ho Nomads, It.S.A., Marist and Colts, the last-mentioned team being formed especially for the purpose of catering for leave personnel of tiie forces, university and High School students oil vacation. The High School senior grade A and B teams will not play this month, but will continue in the competition in February. Cricketers in Gisborne desirous of obtaining- a game to-morrow will be able to do so under the association’s scheme and the teams will be picked on the Gisborne High School g,rounds i\t 1,30 p.m., play commencing as ' oon as possible after that time. '['he draw will be:—Colts v. Nomads, on the Rectory wicket; Marist v. It.S.A., bath Wicket.
