20,000 NAZIS CAPTURED
16-DAY ENEMY DRIVE LOSS OF Ton TANKS (11 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 3. During the Hi days’ German drive towards the Meuse River, it is estimated that the enemy lost nearly 20,000 in prisoners alone and about 400 tanks knocked out, writes a First. Army correspondent. Five enemy Panzer and one Panzer-Grenadier Divisions wore severely _ mauled. These figures are believed in official quarters to be conservative.
