BOY BATHER DROWNED
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 4. While bathing at Brown’s Bay yesterday afternoon a boy was drowned. He was Russell Lundoh, aged 11, from St. Joseph’s Bov’s School, Takapuna. The boy was a member of a party which had gone to Brown’s Bay for the day. He was seen to be in difficulties and was brought ashore. Artificial respiration was applied and a doctor called, but the boy was dead when he arrived.
