Boy Trips With Rifle

A 14-year-old boy, Bruce Charles Davidson, son of Mrs. E. M. Dayjdson, Woodhill, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The boy was on a shooting expedition when he tripped and the rifle he was carrying discharged, the bullet entering his left thigh. His condition was not serious. New Plymouth Grows

At present the number of adults in the borough in terms of the municipal electors' list is 10,118, and it may be that there are some whose names are not on the roll, and some men overseas may not be registered, specially those who may have become eligible since enlistment in the forces. The last estimate of the population of the New Plymouth Borough, as at April 1. 1941, was 17,550, with an additional 1850 in the urban area.
