9 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1. Lieut.-Colonel J. R. MacNamara, f.P. for Chelmsford since 1935, has been killed in action. As chief of the stall' to the Adriatic Command, he entered Yugoslavia with a small force to organise British ;.eip for Marshal Tito.
