RICCARTON WINNERS
The list of winning owners at the N°w Zealand Cup meeting was headed by Mr. R. J. Murphy, owner of Kevin and Beau Cheval. He collected £23.65 and a cup valued at £75. Miss H. Sutherland, owner of Pensacola, won £I9OO, and Mr. J. L. Cheeseman, owner of A 1 Sirat and Bridge Acre, secured £9OO. The most successful trainer was R. Wilson, of Riccarton, whose four wins represented £4265 in stakes. He was the only trainer at the meeting with more than one win. Wilson’s successes were gained with Pepsacola (2), Kevin and Beau Cheval. Riding honours were shared bv W. J. Broughton and H. N. Wiggins. Broughton bad three wins and Wiggins had two outright wins.and a dead-heat Tor first.
