TEMPEST SQUADRON
VISIT FROM MR JORDAN GIFTS FOR~CHRISTMAS (10.30 a.m.) LONDON. Dec. 4. The New Zealand High Commissioner. Mr. \V. ,T. Jordan, on December 2 visited pilots of the New Zealand Tempest Squadron in a Luftwaffe hut on what was recently a Luftwaffe airfield in Holland. Tie presented the squadron with a Christmas gift of £25 from the War Savings Associat ion. Promising a further £25 in the near future. Mr. Jordan said: “If anybody is entitled to a bit of good cheer it’s you fellows who are right in among it.” iVTr. Jordan told the men about .New Zealand's post-war rehabilitation schcm os. The Tempest wing which Mr, .lordan visited is commanded by the New Zealander, Group Captain P. G. Jameson, D. 5.0., D.F.C.
