NEW JAPANESE PRODUCTS scientists"decorated NEW YORK. Oct. 31. Japanese food chemists have been decorated for inventing a new food concocted from the mould on rotting wood, plus sawdust'and starch which, when fermented, is seasoned with sunshine, says the Tokio official radio. The broadcaster said the product is edible when mixed with flour to make needles. Another invention mixes nitrogen with germs producing albumen for bread baiting. A third invention reduced the food weight needed by n soldier to one-tenth and the volume to one-eighth. It added that persons who eat this for a week digest it so completely that there is no waste. They no longer complain of hunger.
